WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Ethio-Sharing! We are a non-profit organization committed to increasing access to basic needs among low-income and vulnerable communities in Ethiopia. We are a team of philanthropists who strive to share acts of kindness by advancing programs that advance health and socioeconomic statuses in these communities. Ethio-Sharing was established in 2022 by humanitarian and professional with a deep conviction to create social change. The team takes pride in having extensive experience as a volunteer in several community projects. At Ethio-Sharing, we position ourselves as a reliable organization seeking to promote innovative solutions to cultivating social justice, defeating poverty, and saving lives.
WHAT WE DO
Many communities continue to face significant barriers to meeting their most basic needs. Despite progress in some areas, countless families still lack reliable access to food, healthcare, education, and essential services. These challenges are felt most deeply in underserved regions, where people work tirelessly to overcome obstacles no one should have to face alone. At Ethio‑Sharing, we are committed to addressing these inequities through sustainable, community‑driven solutions — and with the support of partners and donors, we can extend hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.
Ethio‑Sharing was founded to help advance key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well‑Being, Quality Education, and Reduced Inequalities. Our work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves the chance to build a stable, healthy, and fulfilling life.
We partner closely with local leaders in the City of Metehara to provide school supplies, contribute to annual health insurance premiums for families who cannot afford them, and support community development initiatives that strengthen long‑term well‑being. As our efforts grow, we are committed to expanding our reach within Metehara and into neighboring towns, ensuring that more families have access to the resources they need.
Our goal is to help communities lift themselves out of poverty by offering essential resources and support that strengthen food supply systems and improve overall health and socioeconomic stability. We focus on creating opportunities that empower individuals to meet their basic needs, build resilience, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
