About

WHO WE ARE

Welcome to Ethio-Sharing! We are a non-profit organization committed to increasing access to basic needs among low-income and vulnerable communities in Ethiopia. We are a team of philanthropists who strive to share acts of kindness by advancing programs that advance health and socioeconomic statuses in these communities. Ethio-Sharing was established in 2022 by humanitarian and professional with a deep conviction to create social change. The team takes pride in having extensive experience as a volunteer in several community projects. At Ethio-Sharing, we position ourselves as a reliable organization seeking to promote innovative solutions to cultivating social justice, defeating poverty, and saving lives.

WHAT WE DO

We understand that Ethiopia is home to over 115 million people, the second most populous country in Africa. Over the years, Ethiopia has experienced strong economic growth. Despite this outstanding growth, over 24% of her population still lives below the national poverty line. In addition, about 90.20% of Ethiopians live under US$ 5.50 per day. We established Ethio-Sharing to help the country realize key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including no poverty, zero hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, and reduced inequalities.
We have been partnering with local leaders in the City of Methara, Ethiopia, to provide school supplies, contribute to the annual health premiums for those who cannot afford them, and implement community development projects. With time, we realize it is crucial to expand our reach to this diverse town and other nearby towns. We help communities raise themselves out of the darkness of poverty. We would like to offer the necessary resources, equipment, tools, and technologies to support the development and maintenance of food supply chains and improve their health and socioeconomic well-being. Our focus is to create causes that help members of poverty-stricken communities meet their basic needs and live out their dreams.
